Features
[version 4.0.0.7546]
Sample Loss Prevention
- Display warning message if Sample Loss Prevention is disabled. Clicking the warning message will re-enable Sample Loss Prevention, to prevent samples being run if there are any system errors or pending windows updates that require the PC to restart.
- Inform the user when trying to start the task list that Sample Loss Prevention has prevented the task list from running because of detected errors
- All sample acquisition methods now automatically check to see if the monitoring peaks were present. If no monitoring peaks are detected, the task is put in the Error state and an error status message is created resulting in the task list being paused.
- Stability and Linearity methods will confirm the presence of monitoring peaks as well as automatically calculate the stability and linearity results. If an issue is detected, the task is automatically put into the warning completed state (warning icon).
- Moving the mouse over a completed task with a warning / error image will display the reason for the completion error.
- When a windows update pending PC restart is detected, the displayed warning message can be clicked to open up the PC Windows Update settings (Windows 10 only)
Task List
- Some methods will now complete with an “Warning” (orange warning icon), but the task list will continue – meaning that some internal validation has failed (auto tune, stability, linearity, etc.) and the method result has been logged.
- Some methods will now complete with an “Error” (red cross). This will mean that some internal validation failed resulting in the task list being stopped.
- If a task completes with an Error or Warning symbol, a summary message is available by moving the mouse over the symbol.
- Fix duplicate columns appearing in the task list
- Tasks are now correctly selected by right clicking on them
- Quick tasks can now be easily imported and exported to different lyticOS installations.
Method Log (New)
- Be able to view method log success within the system configuration
- Be able to customize the method log to define the validity of a successful method (Always, Daily, Weekly, Monthly)
- Add method block to method designer log method status (success or failure)
- Add method block to method designer to return method status (taking into account defined validity) and most recent run date
Method System Settings
- Add new concept to allow parameters to be recorded and accessed between subsequent tasks
- Support different scopes / lifetimes of parameters (Current Task List Run, Connected System, System Configuration)
- Allow properties / collection data types to be edited and viewed within the method designer, task list and system configuration
Methods
- iso TOC methods have been added
- Dual inlet - bake out now ensures that all valves are in the correct position
- "Get Number Of Peaks" block added to return the number of peaks in a dataset
- Methods updated to record status of Acquisitions, Peak Center, Auto HP, Auto ZP, Stability, Linearity, etc. for each species and tuning.
- When using an "Error" block you can now set the “Stop Task List” parameter
Method Editor / Dashboard Designer
- Improve designer performance and load time
- Improve Undo / Redo event naming
- Ruberband selection now includes connections
- New validation group to change the name of Boolean selection options
- Child flows are now listed in name order
- Record method editor UI state for Undo / Redo (selection, zoom, etc.)
- Error method block now has a parameter to say if the task list should be paused or not
- Add “Get Sample Run Position” block to let methods behave different if they are the first or last sample in a run
Dashboard
- Rolling chart will now plot 0 when there is no value to plot (null)
- Zoom now zooms in more reliably to the position of the mouse
- Can scroll / pan by pressing the middle button and moving the mouse
- Schematic flow paths emulation improvements
- Be able to customize schematic valves thickness and border color
Data Processing
- Calculated columns can now use group aggregation results as variables
- Fix PDF reports to ensure that any excel formulas are calculated explicitly (Summary, Average, Standard Deviation, etc.)
- Change the “Major …” results to be “Detection Height / Area / Width”
- Ability to change the size of peak labels within the Configure View dialog
- Ability to show None, All or Auto peak labels within a chromatogram
- Batches can now be exported directly from the lyticOS home screen (right click)
- Right clicking on a sample within the batch grid will now select it
- Have increased the Stability and Linearity threshold parameters so that they are correctly used to indicate possible problems
- Fix batch grid column custom formatting issues (Retention Time, Width, etc.)
EA
- Improve the accuracy of Automatic Peak End Detection to reliably give 30 seconds of baseline data after the peak end is detected.
- Add CentrION Inlet motor position parameter to allow subsequent runs after being on a different inlet
- Batch comparison view now has independent axis synchronization for different species
-
Ensure that the monitoring pulses are created correctly when asking for more than 1 pulse.
GC
- Fix monitoring gas ratio results being displayed in the batch grid
- Automatically set the “Ignore Threshold” property to peak map items when adding a peak to a peak map that is below the data processing threshold
- When importing a peak map ensure that it is not suffixes with “ - copy”
- Can now customize the Retention Time Threshold parameter for Peak Map items (defaults to 10 seconds)
Dual Inlet
- Allow bellows operation using a slider with small and large steps
- Much faster bellows response
- Make recording of bellows zero position more intuitive
- When requesting bellows to position 0, automatically subtract a little more and record as new zero position
- Add a ribbon tab with a button to “Set Beam Height”, which iteratively moves the bellows until the target beam value is achieved.
- Allow parameters to be customized independently for sample and reference beam through the ribbon tab within a connected system.
- Add a block to go to a beam height
- Add pressure transducer offset parameter
- Be able to read the pressure readbacks within a method
- Fix real time data processing results not being displayed on chromatograms
- Add data processing ribbon tab to the connected system view
- Include log messages within iso DUAL inlet Data Analysis panel
- New Measure Collector Zeroes (DI) locked method
iso FLOW
- Extend the iso FLOW methods to use the "Get Number Of Peaks" block to verify if the run was successful or not and record method status
- Fix the iso FLOW system configuration creator to use the correct layout
visION / precisION
- Be able to report or pause the task list if a beam intensity exceeds a defined threshold
- Display status message if the turbo service is due. Clicking the message will hide it for 1 month.
- New firmware: improvements to source control during loss of vacuum
ArDB
- Be able to submit batch results as new ArDB samples
