.NET 4.8 Runtime (Prerequisite)

lyticOS now targets the .NET 4.8 Framework, meaning that a prerequisite of an lyticOS installation is that the .NET 4.8 Runtime has to be installed.

isoprime precisION / visION

  • Beams panel now has a ribbon icon
  • Tuning panel now has a ribbon icon
  • Improved device connection speed and performance

EA

  • For 2 species acquisitions, support monitoring peaks at the beginning and / or at the end of the second species

  • Introduced a "Peak Detection Mode" to the data processing parameters
    • Chromatogram: Automatically detect a changover event from the chromatogram

  • Add basic reporting to iso DUAL inlet batch types
  • Improved logging if applied data processing parameters have to be modified automatically

  • When defining a new species / tuning for an isoprime precisION or visION device, the equivalent species / tuning is now correctly created within the centrION device

NICM

  • Ribbon buttons for the NICM dashboards are now grouped together and have icons
  • Add support for "Extensions" which are used by Elementar to extend NICM functionality in special cases

Task Log (Audit)

  • The Task Audit Log (previously only visible through the "View / Edit Task Details" right click option from a task) is now visible by the "View Task Log" option.
  • The Task Audit Log is comprehensively populated as soon as a task is first created.
  • The Task Audit Log remains associated with a task at all times (including within batches) and cannot be manually modified / removed.
  • Any changes to any of the task fields (e.g. Name, Method, etc.) before, during or after a run are automatically recorded.
  • Any log messages that are created during the task run are automatically recorded within the appropriate Task Audit Log.
  • Can create a new "Event" log message from within a method, which is recorded automatically within Task Log. (e.g. used during iso DUAL inlet data processing)

Methods / Flows

  • When using the "Wait For Signal" block within a method, a log message is now created (e.g. used by the AMS precisION)
  • Ensure that Sample Loss Prevention errors are handled correctly within parallel flows
  • Flow editor now presents a drop down for the category field
  • Improved performance when running a method
  • Improved performance when opening the Methods Manager
  • Improved performance when opening and editing a Flow
