Peak Comments
Detected peaks are automatically highlighted and additional annotations are added to describe how an integration has been performed.
Custom annotations and annotations can be manually added to any chart. Custom annotations are pinned to a target y-axis, so that they remain relative to their drawn location when zooming or panning within a chart.

Select multiple samples and performing peak changes will ask the user if changes should apply to all selected samples
-
Charts view has been changed to remove the tile view, with no ability to maximize or minimize a species. Improved usage of available screen space.

3D Peak Display
The comparison view has been completely redesigned to allow for more granular comparison between samples.
When multiple tasks are added to the comparison view a "primary" task is highlighted in bold and other samples are faded. This primary task is synchronised with the selected / active task in the batch grid.
The original stacked chart comparison view has been completely replaced with a new 3D overlay concept. It has been designed so that it is the exact same experience of working with the chart in the normal view as it is in the comparison view. So, all the new chart features that are supported in the main data display, are also supported within the comparison view and synchronized appropriately.
Within a GC batch, when multiple samples have been added to the comparison view, you can press CTRL and double click on a peak to select that same peak (as defined by the Peak Map) to highlight in all the samples within the comparison view.

Data Viewer
With the launch of lyticOS 5.0, we are also making available a free Data Viewer.
https://links.elementar.com/data-viewer
The Data Viewer can be used to view any “lyticOS Archive File” (*.larc) that has been exported from the lyticOS 5.0 software.
The Data Viewer allows you to look beyond the limitations of statically generated excel or pdf reports, and drill into the data and results at a level of detail previously only available to license owners.
Fully interact with charts and show or hide additional column results.
Using the free data viewer, you will not be able to edit any processing parameters or change the way that results are being calculated
Watch the video showing how to download and use the lyticOS Data Viewer here.
LIMS Export
It has always been possible to import information into a task list from a file that has been produced by LIMS. We have now extended this functionality to allow for fields from the task list to be exported to a file (to be imported to a LIMS system).
The file format can be formatted in many ways, including:
-
Select which columns to include
-
Optionally include column headers
-
Custom column headers
-
Apply a formula to a field value
-
The LIMS functionality has now been extended to
-
Custom directory path to save files (including dynamically substituted placeholders)
-
Multiple file formats are supported (Excel, Text, CSV)
-
Options to overwrite or append to a file
-
For Text and CSV file formats, additional file format options are available
-
Culture
-
New Line Char
-
Quotation Behaviour
-
Quotation Char
-
Separator Char
-
Encoding
-
Additionally, it is also possible to enable an automatic export to LIMS files. LIMS profiles can be configured with the above settings and invoked either when each task completes or when the whole task list completes.
Automatic Archive Export
It is now possible to automatically export tasks to an archive file when tasks complete of when the whole task list is completed.
You can specify the target directory (including dynamically substituted placeholders) for the new archive file.
You can also specify a file name format (including dynamically substituted placeholders).
